Changes to the Top 10 hashtags on Instagram this month
#picoftheday dropped to 9th place and #iphonesia (13th) fell out of the Top 10 altogether! And #girl is now a proud new member of the Top 10.

#igers and #instadaily moved up one spot to 11th and 12th respectively. #follow is up to 14th and #happy jumps to 16th. #fashion is up to 22nd and #webstagram is at 23rd. #followme leapt to 26th with #like to 31st. #friends to 35th and even #bored to 39th. #cool rocketed from 45th (replaced by #nature) to 41st bringing up #funny and #life, knocking down #onedirection (gasp!). #family, #christmas, #blue, and #pink all entered the Top 50.

Sources of the Top 100 Instagram hashtags
Tip: Don’t over do it! People get upset if your captions are mostly hashtags. Especially if you are sharing your Instagram photos with your Facebook audience. Up to 5 hashtags seems reasonable, but no more than ten.
Tip: You can add hashtags after posting your photos in the comments in case you forget.

It’s been awhile that hash tagging have walked hand in hand with instagram and guess what? Results are way much cooler and prettier minus manual photo manipulation. Nice to know I’ve been unknowingly using some of these most popular tags.
